CEMLA, The World Bank and Bank for International Settlements
CONTENT:
Developments in securities settlement systems; developments in systemically
important payments systems such as laws, reforms, policy and standardization;
risk management and oversight of payments systems; issues of retail payments
systems and international remittances. In addition, the XIII Annual Meeting of
the Working Group for Payments Systems in Latin America and the Caribbean (WGPS
– LAC) shall take place in order to discuss progress and initiatives for its
work program.
OBJECTIVE:
To bring together experts on payments and securities settlement systems from
central banks and securities commissions of the region, as well as
representatives of other international institutions and multilateral
organizations, to evaluate the progress in the region and new developments in
this field world-wide.
LANGUAGE:
English and Spanish with simultaneous interpretation.
